- Deposit: A non refundable deposit of 30% is payable on all furniture orders.
- Balance: is payable when the furniture part or all is ready for delivery. Goods remain the property of Vivre Interiors until paid for in full. You may pay your balance by credit card in store prior to delivery, over the telephone by debit or credit card, in cash or by cheque.
- Lead times: Our furniture is manufactured here in the UK, in Europe and other carefully selected far flung parts of the world. Delivery times will vary depending on the type of furniture ordered. When the order is placed we will give an estimated time of delivery, usually 2-6 weeks. Some items may take a little longer up to 12 weeks. We will notify you immediately that we become aware of a delay and keep you informed of progress. Happily delays are very few and our customers usually receive their furniture on or before the estimated date.
- Customer Delays: If for some reason you wish to delay delivery of your furniture we are happy to store it for you, where this is possible. Outstanding balances must be paid in full whilst we are waiting for your instructions.
- Delivery: In most cases we try to provide a free local delivery service. For deliveries further a field we will make a delivery charge based on mileage. We aim to deliver at times which are convenient to our customers. For this reason deliveries usually take place at weekends. We will call you at a minimum of 48 hours notice with a delivery day and approximate time usually morning or afternoon. If you require a more specific time we do try to provide this prior to delivery. You will be kept informed of any material delays, but in the majority of cases our drivers will arrive within 30 minutes of the pre arranged time. Your furniture will be delivered by Vivre’s own staff who will unpack and assemble your furniture unless you request otherwise. You will be given general advise on caring for your furniture, When they have finished they will remove all of the packaging and take it away, its all part of the service.
- Access: The customer is responsible for ensuring that there is a clear access prior to delivery and that doorways and rooms can accommodate the furniture. We regret that we cannot refund deposits on furniture that does not fit.
- Damage: Any items found to be damaged upon receipt will be replaced. Variations in patina, graining etc are not considered damage but are a consequence of using natural materials.
